Bulamu SDA Church 2020
Achievements
- There has been an increase in the membership to the current 50 members, including 35 adults and 30 children. This has been through preaching and baptizing new members, men marrying women from other congregations, families producing children, and membership transfers.
- Upgrading of the church building from the papyrus walls to iron sheets, fixing doors and windows, cemented floor, having access to the church compound, and construction of a toilet.
- The church now has more space in addition to the initial donation of 120 ft by 50 ft. The church now sits on a 200 ft by 50 ft, courtesy of the members and well-wishers who contributed money to purchase the additional piece of land.
- Formation of the church choir that performs on a regular basis during worship services and on special occasions. The music is directed by Elaine Busuulwa assisted by Sylvia Naluggwa, membership stands at 30 with 20 ladies and 10 gentlemen, and they have 10 composed songs.
- Starting small church projects aimed at generating income for the institution. These projects are organized under member groups of about six people. Currently we have soya drink, pancakes, and __. The projects have not yet reached break-even though we still hope and pray that they will.
- Boosting our presentations with a public address system, a standby generator, and a music keyboard. These are personal property though they are readily available for use by the church. These have been taken care of by David Lwere, Isaac Mwotassubi, Wycliffe Kalyango, and Ronald Mwesigwa.
- Church has attracted members from different professions to be part of the regular congregation and therefore benefiting from their expertise through presentations mainly on Sabbath afternoons.

- Designing a database for this congregation, where every church member is required to complete a form giving information on biodata, and personal programmes that need to be prayed for. This is manual and we hope to design an electronic one in the near future, courtesy of Isaac Mwotassubi.
- Drawing a strategic plan for the development of this church and encouraging church members to be part of the plan. This includes construction of a storeyed building to house the church and children's center, a kitchen, a parking area and toilets. The building plan is already approved and construction is due to begin in July 2014.

- Encouraging participation of members in evangelism activities, the common ones being personal bible study, code-named "Zuula", open-air preaching, and support for Prime Radio.
